Its goal is to help keep Luiss among the world\u2019s <strong>top 30 most sustainable universities<\/strong>, according to the <strong>UI GreenMetric World University Rankings<\/strong>, having contributed to achieving this position in previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group is involved in a wide range of activities and initiatives focused primarily on sustainability and inclusion. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the students also developed online initiatives to engage the student community and the wider public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group is currently evaluating the most appropriate formal structure for its activities, including becoming part of Ethos, establishing an independent association, or creating a student association. It has also been allocated a dedicated space at the Luiss campus on Viale Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Activities and projects include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Artistic and cultural initiative on youth issues<\/strong> (October 2021): an evening event at MAXXI in Rome featuring artistic performances and music, with Prof. Riccio providing consultancy on performing arts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luiss Christmas Market<\/strong> (December 2019): participation in a charity initiative involving the collection of clothing for donation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration with the Madre Museum:<\/strong> initiatives focused on sustainability, with contacts established with Laura Valente, then Director of the Museum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration with Luiss offices<\/strong> on the Green Ranking and initiatives promoting environmental sustainability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collaboration with ASviS<\/strong> on a sustainability event planned at Luiss for May\/June 2020, subsequently postponed due to COVID-19.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Initiatives on sustainability and inclusion<\/strong> in collaboration with the Luiss General Management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>TEDxLuiss Countdown<\/strong> (October 2020): participation in the international TED initiative, with Luiss hosting a webinar focused on climate change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Climathon project<\/strong> (November 2020\u2013April 2021): an awareness-raising initiative addressing climate change, developed in collaboration with the Italian Climate Network and involving upper secondary schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project, conceived by a group of Luiss students, aims to implement concrete initiatives to promote the value of sustainability across the University.
