Research Center AI4Society is an interdisciplinary research center where scientists, humanities scholars, and entrepreneurs collaborate to build a better future.

The Center—which evolved from CLIO (Center for Research in Leadership, Innovation, and Organization)—aims to study and analyze the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on society through the lens of the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities, while fostering a dialogue between technology and human values.

We want technology to serve humanity, to help solve the most pressing problems of our time, and to enable us to live in a better, more just, and more sustainable world. The Research Center AI4Society is an international hub for critical and interdisciplinary reflection on the implications of AI, contributing to the development of socially responsible technologies. At the same time, the Center aims to serve as a hub for fostering national and international collaborations with universities, research institutions, government agencies, organizations, and businesses to address the challenges of our time.

By actively participating in Research Center AI4Society’s activities, companies can establish a direct and privileged relationship with the academic and scientific ecosystem at Luiss Guido Carli. The Center offers companies the opportunity to propose specific case studies on which to conduct research and experiments that are not limited solely to technological aspects but also take into account the regulatory, sociopolitical, and economic-financial implications of artificial intelligence. Joining the Research Center AI4Society network gives companies early access to innovative results, facilitating their growth in a rapidly changing market.
